Kylian Mbappe became Paris Saint-Germain's all-time top scorer with his 201st goal for the club in a 4-2 win over Nantes on Saturday. He equaled Edinson Cavani's previous record mark of 200 goals with a brace in last week's win at Marseille and went one better by netting in stoppage time at the Parc de Princes.

Mbappe reached the record in just 247 appearances since signing from Monaco at age 18 in 2017. He was handed a trophy by the club after the game to mark his record in an on-field presentation.

Before closest competitor, Marseille played on Sunday and before the Qatar-owned team traveled to on Wednesday for their Champions League round of 16 encounters, PSG opened up a lead of 11 points.

Just Fontaine, the illustrious former France striker who died on Wednesday at the age of 89 and scored 13 goals in the 1958 World Cup, was given a minute of ovation prior to kickoff. In the 12th minute, Messi converted a deflected low cross from Nuno Mendes to give PSG the lead.

PSG appeared to be cruising following Hadjam's own goal, but Nantes got back into the game shortly after the half-hour mark thanks to a Blas shot that caught Gianluigi Donnarumma off guard, and Cameroonian attacker Ganago's header made it 2-2 before halftime.

PSG had lost a two-goal lead in their previous home game against Lille two weeks ago but came back to win 4-3, and they did it again today with Mbappe playing a key part.
