The MP for Korle Klottey said in a Facebook post on Monday that the late president had a deep love for the party and was never reluctant to chastise it when it veered from its values and principles. Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings appears to know what her dad would have done if he were still alive as the daughter who followed in her father's political footsteps.

The party and a few of its well-known figures released comments over the weekend denouncing the deceitful behavior of some of its Parliamentarians.
The few NDC Lawmakers were labeled traitors by former president John Mahama, who urged them to do some serious soul-searching and understand what it means to be nationalistic.
Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings experienced unbearable suffering as the results were revealed.
She went on to call the decision made by some people to vote in favor of the nominees "cowardice."
She claimed that instead of concealing within the party "to pursue your private selfish agenda," these traitors should have publicly stated their disagreement with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) direction.
Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings expressed dismay at the outcomes but stated that the tragedy should serve as a wake-up call for the party.
She said the party had failed and could "no longer be overlooked or pushed under the carpet" because of how far from its fundamental principles it had come.
