Yesterday, the Hon. Linda Ahenkora received on site officers from the Highways Department and the Road Contractor in charge of the Ofoasekuma to Amentia road network.
The visit was to officially introduce the contractor to the District Chief Executive and have a site visitation as well as understand the scope of work to be done.
The Hon. DCE, Linda Ahenkora met also on site the Consultant in charge of the EXPRESS ROAD. The Express Road as mentioned by H.E John Dramani Mahama through the Finance Minister, will pass through the Akyemansa District connecting the Eastern Region to the Ashanti Region.
The District Chief Executive had briefings from the Consultant and his team highlighting the scope of work, points of connectivity and ancillary facilities on the stretch.
The Contractor for the Ofoasekuma to Amentia road which goes through Ofoase Praso will be on site in the coming days to officially commence the road construction.
