The New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), according to Kofi Akpaloo, the flagbearer of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), are both to blame for the current state of the nation.
After asserting that the NPP and the NDC had spent enormous sums of money in the ongoing by-election for Assin North, Mr. Akpaloo made the latest assertion.
He claims that with the money both political parties have given Assin North's constituents to acquire political power, roughly 30 industries might be built there.
The three political parties, NPP, NDC, and LPG, have each put up candidates to compete for the Assin North parliamentary seat today, and voting has already begun.
Charles Opoku and Catherine Enyonam are the leaders of the NPP and LPG, respectively.
James Gyakye Quayson, a candidate for the NDC, is also running for the seat representing the Constituency.
The LPG flagbearer said that the NPP and NDC distributed bags of cement and roofing materials to the voters to win their support during the election.
Neither NPP nor the NDC can argue that they committed large resources in Assin NoHe stressed, A lot of things, including money, were handed to some persons... therefore they actually spent a lot of money.
Due to this, Mr. Akpaloo stated, "This morning, I saw an argument here in Assin Bereku with some constituents alleging they were duped into sharing the money.
